The reports in Data Downloads provides School Leaders with a holistic and consolidated view into all students’ progress, making it easier for school leaders to leverage and analyze student data. Here are some ways this data can be useful:
- Help inform your school’s student groupings and curriculum planning heading into the new academic year
- Provide necessary information to stakeholders, such as guardians, district personnel, or administrators at the new schools of transferred students
Important note: a lot of student data is available within each report. Please only share these reports with relevant and appropriate stakeholders. We suggest pulling out specific information from the reports to avoid oversharing data.

How should I use these reports?
The reports in Data Downloads enable school leaders to better understand progress patterns or gaps students may have experienced as a result of remote learning last year. As you plan for the upcoming year, we recommend using this data to:
Create student groups based on progress patterns or gaps
- Use the data to look at specific student progress and create student groups based student progress patterns or gaps. We recommend giving these groupings as suggestions to the teacher.
- Some guiding questions that can help inform these student groups:
- Which students have the highest number of incomplete projects?
- Which students have the highest number of overdue or unassigned projects?
- Which students have the most Focus Areas that are incomplete across their subjects?
Strategize and focus instructional actions:
- Use the data to identify performance trends and opportunities to strategize and focus curriculum and instruction based on student performance from the data.
- Subject Level exports can help you identify performance gaps across Cognitive Kkills, math concepts, and/or Focus Area masteries across different subjects making it easier to highlight content areas that students can collectively review.
*Surfacing data trends with .csv files typically requires using Excel pivot tables, which are summaries of your data, packaged in a chart that lets you see and explore trends.
