How do I create and add Math Units?

You can create new Math Units or add existing Math Units to any course that you've created.

To create a new Math Unit from a course:

  1. From the course page, click Edit Course
  2. In the Math Units section, click Add Project
  3. In the bottom left, click Create new
  4. Enter the name of your Unit
  5. Select Math concept as the project type

  6. Click Create project
  7. At the top of the Edit Course page, click Finish Editing

To add an existing Math Unit to a course:

  1. From the course page, click Edit Course
  2. In the Math Units section, click Add Project
  3. You can search for Math Units using keywords, or by filtering for Concept Dimensions, Standards, Grade Levels, or Subjects
  4. Check the box to the right of each Unit you'd like to add
  5. Click Add
  6. At the top of the Edit Course page, click Finish Editing

Please note that you can only add Math Units from the current academic year when searching using the above method that have Curriculum Sharing turned on. If you would like to add a Math Unit from a previous academic year, please use the process below.

If you're exploring other Math Units and find one that you'd like to add to a different course, you can copy the Math Unit:

  1. From the Math Unit page, click Edit Math Unit
  2. Check that Curriculum Sharing is turned on under Math Unit Info
  3. In the upper-right corner, click Copy Math Unit
  4. Search for and select the course to copy the Math Unit to
  5. Click Copy
