What happens if Summit stops providing the Program to schools?

Summit is a nonprofit network of public schools that operates 11 schools in the states of California and Washington in addition to overseeing the Summit Learning Program. We are committed to supporting our students, families, and partner schools now and into the future.

However, in the unlikely event that Summit ceases operations, we would work to ensure that the Summit Learning Platform and the related Services continue to be available to schools under the following conditions:

  • Summit will not sell personal information to any third party.
  • Any successor organization would be bound by Summit’s Privacy Policy and would comply with our commitments to protect student information. This provision is consistent with the Student Privacy Pledge.
  • We would notify all users through our website and/or by email within 30 days after this type of event—and provide guidance about how users can request deletion of their personal information.
