How long is student information retained in the Summit Learning Platform? Can it be deleted?

Summit Learning will only retain personal information for a limited time.

If schools leave the Summit Learning Program or request removal of personal information, our team deletes the personal information in a commercially reasonable amount of time and in accordance with law, unless there is a reason to keep the information, such as to comply with our legal obligations or to enforce our agreements, policies, or rules applicable to the Summit Learning Program.

Parents/guardians who wish to have their student’s personal information removed from the Summit Learning Platform should review the information in the Privacy Policy (in sections “Partner Schools Can Delete Information” and “We Support Parent Engagement”) and contact  their child’s school.
