In concept units, how should I use the version 2s of performance tasks?

Most final products in concept units do not lend themselves well to revision due to the closed nature of many of the questions we use to elicit evidence of conceptual understanding. Inevitably, some students will want to improve their scores. The second versions of performance tasks provide that opportunity. They can be utilized in a variety of ways, such as offering them to interested students after school hours or building them into class time. If students attempt version 2 and their concept rubric scores improve, replace the lower scores with higher scores in the Summit Learning Platform.
