How do I navigate the Summit Learning Platform?

When you log in, you'll be directed to the first course listed in the menu on the left. You'll want to spend some time exploring the other parts of the Summit Learning Platform dashboard:

Courses

All courses you are teaching will be listed in the menu on the left. From a course page, you can view:

  • Overview:
  • Students:
    • Letter grade
    • Cog skill average
    • Number of overdue projects
    • Focus area progress
  • Assessments:
    • Assessment requests
    • Current assessment activity

You can click into cog skill average and focus area progress columns to view more details.

Grade Levels

All grade levels you are teaching will be listed in the menu on the left. When you click on a grade level, you can view student data filtered by that grade level:

  • Students:
    • Number of courses with an incomplete grade
    • Courses with <70% cog skill average
    • Courses with <70% concept unit average
    • Courses with overdue projects
    • Focus area progress
  • Assessments:
    • Assessment requests
    • Current assessment activity

You can click into cog skill average and focus area progress columns to view more details.

Edit Groups

You can create data views for custom groups of students.
