Why does Summit use MAP?

MAP data allows us to see student academic growth on a nationally-normed test.

MAP is a commonly requested measure of improvement from external parties and thus, it adds a layer of third-party validation and consistency to the student outcome data we will examine to understand student growth.

Summit uses our MAP data to inform intervention placement for Summit Solves and Summit Reads.  You can also use your data in a similar manner for intervention placement.
